Les attentats et l'action clandestine lui donnent le goût de l'action, le recours à l'impôt révolutionnaire et autres rackets en font un gangster et un braqueur de haut vol.
Cette évolution de la lutte politique et des idéaux de la jeunesse au grand banditisme, pour la première fois racontée de l'intérieur, nous fait comprendre les dérives du nationalisme corse.
